Three more sign for the Saints

Saints are pleased to announce that the following three players have signed on for the new season.

Left back Luke Elliot has arrived from South Central rivals Chipstead. He headed to the High Road last season, after previously playing for South Park.

Luke is joined by Sawbridgeworth Town midfielder Danny Wickenden, who moves over from the Essex Senior League, whilst the final addition is Derek Feyi, who formerly played for South Central rivals Marlow but has more recently been with Aylesbury Vale Dynamos.

We extend a very warm welcome to all three and trust they will enjoy the stay at Mill Meadow

Honours for the U18s'

At the Allied Counties League AGM, our U18 Representative team was awarded the 'Allied Counties Youth Football League 'Hospitality & Sporting' Award for Season 2018/2019.

The award was voted for by referee's and clubs across the league, with our U18 being the overall winner. Congratulations to Wayne and his team on showing such respect and hospitality, reflecting the values that the Club adheres to.

Finlay's first appointments and signings

Finlay has wasted no time since coming on board and together with Finlay we are pleased to announce that the following have joined the management team. We extend a very warm welcome to Paul Wickenden (Assistant Manager), Tony Wild (Coach), Kevin Lima (Coach), Zahid Namigul (Physio 7 Strength & Conditioing Coach) and Tristan Thomas (Video & Opposition Analyst). The team will be working very closely with Kayliegh (@kjdsportpsych) (Sports Psychologist).

We are also pleased to announce that the following players have put pen to paper and will be playing for the Saints this season. We extend a very warm welcome to Riccardo Greenaway, Ben Gray, Daniel Purdue, Perry Aitchinson, Khalil Francis, Luke Jones, Luke Massingham, Alfred Acheampong, Jordan Payne and Andre Odetola.

Further announcements will be made as soon as possible.

The FA announces the League Consititution

The FA has announced the league constitution for the season 2019/20. Saints remsin in the Bostik League South Central Division.

Saints U18 Trials starting

 

 

Finlay Johnson named Saints Manager

Chalfont St Peter AFC is pleased to confirm the appointment of Finlay Johnson as its new First Team Manager.

Finlay, 28, a UEFA B License coach managed the U23 Hendon FC to their Middlesex League title in the 2018-19 season and has coaching experience with other clubs and professional academies.

He is also North London Academy Scout Co-ordinator at Watford FC.

Saints Chairman Denis Mair said:

"We at Chalfont St Peter AFC are excited at the appointment of Finlay Johnson and, once again, we have put our trust in a young manager who is committed to attracting and developing young players for Chalfont St Peter. We would like to congratulate Finlay on his appointment and wish him every success at Saints."

Saints' players celebrated the season just finished at the Ethorpe Hotel, Gerrards Cross and the following awards were given:

The evening also celebrated Danny Edwards who steps down as Manager after 15 seasons. He received a special award from former Chelsea star, Dennis Wise.
