Chalfont played their first home game at Mill Meadow against the higher league opponents Harrow Borough.

This match was a full bloodied friendly which was even up to the last 10 minutes of the half when Saints had a brilliant period and scored two goals. The first by Dave Pitts on 40th minute  (his third goal in a week) the second was scored by the veteran Marvin Morgan one minute before the break.

The second period was as expected when Manager Findlay made changes and Harrow showed their more experience pulling back a goal 10 minutes into the half.

The equaliser was a very unfortunate own goal when a defender tried to clear his goal line but only managed to help the ball in.

A good workup for the Saints who are knitting together well and all looks good for the season ahead.
